The idea for this work-study program is that you work with the material (questions and audio commentary) then listen to the recordings of Lucia’s teleconferences:

  • Dive into the questions and write your answers.
  • Listen to the commentary, allow it to spark insights, sit with the material, and revisit your answers.
  • Listen to the teleconference attendees as they bring up issues they are stuck on and, hopefully, doing so will provide additional insights into your life recapitulation.

In case you cannot open the Word documents (docx files) included in this course, the raw text of the files is available at the bottom of this page in the “Recaptilation Word Document Text” section. Simply “cut” the text  and “paste” into the document format of your choice.

Recapitulation Timeline Formats

We all work in different ways. Some of us are more mental, some more emotional. Some of us benefit from writing things down, some prefer graphs or pictures.

If the latter appeals to you, consider using a timeline table as you work through all of the work-study questions in the various sections. As you remember things, slot them into your timeline. By the time the Recapitulation course if over, you’ll have a complete timeline of your life with all of the most relevant transition points. Here is an example…

The other option is to write your autobiography, an account of your life in sequential order. Writing something down causes the mind to synthesize something to the point where it can be put into words. A very valuable exercise.

In either case, you’ll have a complete record of your life. In the years to come, you may want to add things as you remember them. You may even want to do an annual read-through of the high points of your life in order to see what other issues percolate up that need to be addressed.
